General Prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Kamran Aliyev, and his accompanying delegation paid an official visit to Ankara from 20 to 22 July 2025 upon the invitation of the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal, Mr. Muhsin Şentürk.

The delegation accompanying Mr. Aliyev included Mr. Sebuhi Aliyev, Director of the International Legal Cooperation Department; Mr. Ceyhun Hümbetov, Director of the Department for Supervision over Law Enforcement in Investigation, Inquiry, and Operational Search Activities of Internal Affairs Bodies; Mr. Orkhan Isayev, Head of the Office for the Maintenance of Public Prosecution; and Mr. Fazil Hasanaliyev, Head of the Science and Education Center.

As part of the visit, meetings were held at the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal, during which detailed information was exchanged on the structure, duties, and powers of the Office. It was emphasized that such visits contribute to strengthening the existing legal cooperation and joint efforts in the fight against crime between the two friendly and brotherly countries, in line with the “One Nation, Two States” motto.  The importance of joint initiatives within the framework of multilateral platforms such as the Organization of Turkic States, the International Association of Prosecutors, and others was also underlined. Mutual evaluations were carried out to further enhance institutional cooperation.

During the visit, Mr. Kamran Aliyev was received by the President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
As part of the program, the Azerbaijani delegation also held high-level meetings with the President of the Court of Cassation,  Mr. Ömer Kerkez, and the Minister of Justice,  Mr. Yılmaz Tunç. The delegation visited the Turkish Justice Academy as well.

Throughout the visit, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ankara,  Mr. Reşad Mammadov, accompanied the delegation. As part of the program, the delegation also visited the Azerbaijani Embassy and held a meeting with the Ambassador.

Mr. Muhsin Şentürk, General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal, participated in the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum held in St. Petersburg between 18 and 21 June 2025, upon the official invitation of Mr. Igor Krasnov, Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.
Mr. Şentürk was accompanied during the visit by Mr. Ömer Erdoğmuş, Ms. Dr. Seda Türkan Manav Dursun, and Mr. Murat Öksüz, Prosecutors of the Supreme Court of Appeal.
Within the scope of the visit, Mr. Şentürk held a bilateral meeting with Mr. Igor Krasnov, Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.
Furthermore, on 20 June 2025, Mr. Şentürk delivered a presentation during a session titled “Reducing Regulatory and Administrative Burdens as a Prerequisite for Entrepreneurial Freedom, Attracting Investment, and Mutually Beneficial Cooperation”, held as part of the Forum, and subsequently attended the Plenary Session addressed by H.E. Mr. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation.
As part of the visit, Mr. Şentürk also met with H.E. Mr. Tanju Bilgiç, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Moscow, and H.E. Mr. Özgün Talu, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in St. Petersburg.

Mr. Muhsin Şentürk, the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal, paid an official visit to the Republic of Bulgaria from April 13 to 16, 2025, upon the invitation of  Mr. Borislav Sarafov, the Acting Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria.  Mr. Şentürk was accompanied by senior prosecutors from the General Prosecutor's Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal, Mr. Ömer Kara, Mr. Hasan Cumbul, and the prosecutor responsible for International Relations, Ms. Seda Türkan Manav Dursun.

During the visit, meetings were held at the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, during which criminal matters concerning the judicial authorities of both countries were addressed in a comprehensive manner. Emphasis was placed on the importance of cooperation in combating cross-border organized crime, illegal migration, terrorism, and cybercrime, as well as on the exchange of best practices and the implementation of joint training programs.

As part of the official program, Mr. Muhsin Şentürk held high-level meetings with the President of the Supreme Court of Cassation of the Republic of Bulgaria Mrs. Galina Zakharova, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Georgi Georgiev, and the Chairman of the State Agency for National Security, Mr. Plamen Tonchev.

Mr. Şentürk and the accompanying delegation also visited the  Appellate Prosecutor’s Office, the District and the Regional Prosecutor’s Offices in Plovdiv.

As part of the social program, visits were made to the Banyabashi Mosque in Sofia  and the Djumaya Mosque in Plovdiv, where meetings were held with the Grand Mufti of the Muslims in Bulgaria and the Mufti of the Plovdiv district.

In addition, Mr. Şentürk and his delegation paid  an official visit to the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Sofia, H.E. Mehmet Sait Uyanık, and the Consul General in Plovdiv, Mr. Korhan Küngerü.

The Acting Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Borislav Sarafov, accompanied by a distinguished delegation, visited Ankara from February 3 to 6, 2025, at the invitation of the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal of Türkiye, Mr. Muhsin Şentürk. The Bulgarian delegation was composed of Deputy Prosecutor General Ms. Vanya Stefanova, Head of the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office Ms. Iliana Kirilova, as well as Deputy Heads of the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office, Ms. Bozhidara Ganeva and Ms. Marina Nenkova.

As part of the official visit, Mr. Sarafov and his delegation visited the General Prosecutor's Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal on February 4, 2025. During the meeting with Mr. Muhsin Şentürk, the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal, an in-depth exchange took place regarding the structure, functions, duties, and powers of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Türkiye. Emphasis was placed on the importance of enhancing legal cooperation between the two offices to strengthen the fight against crime. Both parties expressed their commitment to advancing cooperation between the Prosecutor's Offices.

In addition, Mr. Sarafov and his delegation held high-level discussions with Mr. Yılmaz Tunç, Minister of Justice of Republic of Türkiye, and Mr. Ömer Kerkez, President of the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Türkiye. The discussions centered on deepening bilateral legal cooperation and fostering closer ties between the judicial systems of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Türkiye.

The General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal, Mr. Muhsin Şentürk, paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain from January 12-14, 2025, upon the invitation of the Attorney General of the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Dr. Ali bin Fadhel Al Buainain. Mr. Şentürk was accompanied by the prosecutor responsible for International Relations, Ms. Seda Türkan Manav Dursun, and senior prosecutors from the General Prosecutor's Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal, Mr. Bayram Kantık and Mr. Cafer Güven Kara.

During the visit, meetings were held at the Prosecution Office of the Kingdom of Bahrain, where both sides exchanged information regarding their respective judicial systems. Emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening legal cooperation between the two countries, which would contribute to the protection of citizens' rights and the fight against transnational crime.

Mr. Şentürk also held official meetings with H.E. Sh. Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council and President of the Court of Cassation, and H.E. Counselor Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainain, President of the Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

During the official dinner hosted in their honor, Mr. Şentürk also engaged in discussions with the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Ma'awda.

Additionally, Mr. Şentürk and the accompanying delegation visited Mrs. Dr. Ayşe Hilal Sayan Koytak, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bahrain.
