Mrs. Marjanne de Kwaasteniet, the Dutch Ambassador to Turkey, paid an official visit to Mr. Bekir Şahin, the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal in his office.

During the meeting, mutual information and opinions were exchanged regarding the duties and powers of the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal.

       Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Ivan Geshev paid an official visit to Ankara between 23-26 January 2022 upon the invitation of the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Bekir Şahin. The accompanying delegation of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Ivan Geshev consisted of Deputy Prosecutor General at the Supreme Administrative Prosecutor`s Office Ms. Desislava  Pironeva, and  Prosecutor, Spokesperson for the Prosecutor General Ms. Siyka  Mileva.

       During the meetings held within the framework of the visit, strengthening of the legal cooperation between two countries was evaluated and mutual opinions were exchanged.

       Within the framework of the official program, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Ivan Geshev and his delegation had meetings with the President of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Mehmet Akarca and the Minister of Justice Mr. Abdulhamit Gül.

General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Bekir Şahin and Prosecutors of the Supreme Court of Appeal Ms. Dr. İlknur Altuntaş and Mr. Mustafa Başer participated in "the Ceremonial Events dedicated to the 300^th Anniversary of the Prosecution Service of the Russian Federation " held on 12 January 2022 in Moscow upon the official invitation of Mr. Igor Krasnov, Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation. 

Within the scope of the program, General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Bekir Şahin and heads of the delegations were received by the President of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin.

Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 13 January 2022 in order to strengthen cooperation and share experiences between the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal.

Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kosovo Ms. Albulena Haxhiu and accompanying delegation, visiting Ankara upon the official invitation of the Minister of Justice Mr. Abdulhamit Gül, paid an official visit to General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal on 23 November 2021. The delegation was welcomed by the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Bekir Şahin. During the meeting, mutual information and opinions were exchanged regarding the duties and powers of the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal.

      Director of Public Prosecutions of Zambia Ms. Fulata Lillian Shawa - Siyunyi paid an official visit to Ankara between 22-23 November 2021 upon the invitation of the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Bekir Şahin. The accompanying delegation of the Director of Public Prosecutions of Zambia Ms. Fulata Lillian Shawa - Siyunyi consisted of State Advocates of Zambia Ms. Mable Chinusho Bauleni Nawa, Ms. Fannie Nyirenda, and Ms. Margaret Hakasenke.

      During the meetings held within the framework of the visit, strengthening of the legal cooperation between two countries was evaluated and mutual opinions were exchanged.

      During the visit, Director of Public Prosecutions of Zambia Ms. Fulata Lillian Shawa - Siyunyi and her delegation had meetings with the President of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Mehmet Akarca and the Minister of Justice Mr. Abdulhamit Gül.
