Federal Prosecutor General of Germany Dr. Peter Frank paid an official visit to Ankara between 5-7 July 2022 upon the invitation of the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Bekir Şahin. The accompanying delegation of the Federal Prosecutor General of Germany Dr. Peter Frank consisted of Head of the Cabinet of the Federal Public Prosecutor General Mr. Wolfram Nettersheim.

       During the meetings held at the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal within the framework of the visit, strengthening of the legal cooperation between two countries was evaluated and mutual opinions were exchanged.

       Within the framework of the official program, the Federal Prosecutor General of Germany, Dr. Peter Frank was received by the President of the Republic of Türkiye Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Mr. Frank and his delegation had meetings with the President of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Mehmet Akarca and the Minister of Justice Mr. Bekir Bozdağ.

            Prosecutor General of Italy Mr. Giovanni Salvi paid an official visit to Ankara between 12-14 June 2022 upon the invitation of the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Bekir Şahin. The accompanying delegation of the Prosecutor General of Italy Mr. Giovanni Salvi consisted of Advocate General of the Prosecutor General’s Office Mr. Renato Finocchi Ghersi.

            During the meetings held at the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal within the framework of the visit, strengthening of the legal cooperation between two countries was evaluated and mutual opinions were exchanged.

            Within the framework of the official program, Prosecutor General of Italy Mr. Giovanni Salvi had meetings with the President of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Mehmet Akarca and the Minister of Justice Mr. Bekir Bozdağ.

       Mr. Bekir Şahin, General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal, paid an official visit to Uzbekistan between 23-26 May 2022 upon the invitation of Mr. Yuldashev Nigmatilla Tulkinovich, General Prosecutor of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The accompanying delegation of Mr. Bekir Şahin consisted of Mr. Bahattin Azizağaoğlu and Ms. Dr. İlknur Altuntaş, Senior Prosecutors of the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal.

       Within the scope of the visit, after the meeting held with the General Prosecutor of Uzbekistan, Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 23 May 2022 in order to strengthen cooperation and share experiences between the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Türkiye.

       During the visit, Mr. Şahin and his delegation had meetings with Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the President of the Academy of the Prosecutor General’s Office in Tashkent. Also, the delegation held meetings with the Prosecutor's Offices of Samarkand and Bukhara region.

Mrs. Marjanne de Kwaasteniet, the Dutch Ambassador to Turkey, paid an official visit to Mr. Bekir Şahin, the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal in his office.

During the meeting, mutual information and opinions were exchanged regarding the duties and powers of the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal.

       Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Ivan Geshev paid an official visit to Ankara between 23-26 January 2022 upon the invitation of the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Bekir Şahin. The accompanying delegation of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Ivan Geshev consisted of Deputy Prosecutor General at the Supreme Administrative Prosecutor`s Office Ms. Desislava  Pironeva, and  Prosecutor, Spokesperson for the Prosecutor General Ms. Siyka  Mileva.

       During the meetings held within the framework of the visit, strengthening of the legal cooperation between two countries was evaluated and mutual opinions were exchanged.

       Within the framework of the official program, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Ivan Geshev and his delegation had meetings with the President of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Mehmet Akarca and the Minister of Justice Mr. Abdulhamit Gül.
