The International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) is the first and only international organization for all prosecutors around the world to which the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal is an institutional member since 2014. On the 21^st and the 22^nd of October 2021, the 26^thGeneral Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors was held as an online meeting. Dr. İlknur Altuntaş, Senior Prosecutor Responsible for International Relations, attended the meeting as the representative of the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal. 

On the 21^st of October 2021, during the IAP General Meeting,“the 10^th Eastern European and Central Asia Regional Conference of the International Association of Prosecutors” was officially announced to be held in İstanbul in 2023.This was a proposal offered by the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal to the International Association of Prosecutors in May 2021. The proposal was accepted by the Executive Committee of the IAP on 20 October 2021 in St. Petersburg. The IAP Regional Conference has a historical importance for Turkey, as the 100^th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey will be celebrated in 2023. The theme of the 10^th Regional Conference is “Effective Investigation in the Era of Digitalization”.

     Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the aim of strengthening the cooperation and sharing experience between the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan and the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Turkey, the delegation of 11 prosecutors from the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan that are headed by Mr. Dadaşov Fərid Zəmanioğlu, Head of Strategic Planning and Risk Identification Department of the Scientific-Educational Center of the Prosecutor  General’s Office of Azerbaijan, are conducting a study visit in Turkey between 17-27 October 2021. 

     Within the framework of the above mentioned study visit, the delegation was received by Mr. Bekir Şahin, the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal on 18 October 2021 . During the meeting, presentations were made to the delegation and views were exchanged. The delegations visited Ankara West Courthouse and the campus of Sincan Penal Institution on 19 October 2021. It is planned that the delegation, who will be in Turkey for 10 days, will visit the Supreme Court of Appeal, Ankara Courthouse, Ankara Regional Court of Appeal and the Justice Academy of Turkey.

Ms. Florence Kajuju, Kenya Ombudsman and Secretary General of African Ombudsmans and Mediators Union and the accompanying delegation visited the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal on 18 October 2021. Mr. Mehmet Akarca, President of the Supreme Court of Appeal and Mr. Bekir Şahin, General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal attended the meeting. Information and views about the duties and capacity of the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal were shared during the meeting

Delegation consisting of judiciary training institutions of Turkic Council Member States -Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan-, and representatives from Turkic Council, visiting Ankara upon the official invitation of the Justice Academy of Turkey, paid an official visit to the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal on 6 October 2021.
Mehmet Akarca, First President of the Supreme Court of Appeal, Bekir Şahin, General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal, Eyup Yeşil and Adem Albayrak, First Vice Presidents of the Supreme Court of Appeal, Rıdvan Gündoğdu, Deputy General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal, Fevzi Yıldırım, Secretary General of the Supreme Court of Appeal and Muhittin Özdemir, President of the Justice Academy of Turkey, also took part in the visit. Mutual information and opinions were exchanged regarding the duties and powers of the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal.

Online meeting held with regard to the Draft Establishment Document of Council of Prosecutors General of Turkic Speaking States, which is envisaged to be established with the aim of developing and strengthening cooperation, combating criminals effectively and sharing information between the General Prosecution Offices of the member states, was held on 15 September 2021 with the participation of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan. On behalf of the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal, Prosecutor Responsible for International Relations Ms. Dr. İlknur Altuntaş attended to the meeting. During the meeting, evaluations were made regarding the draft establishment document.
