The Prosecutor General of the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Muhsin Şentürk, participated in the 5th Meeting of the Prosecutors General of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States and the 7th Meeting of the Prosecutors General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Member States, hosted by the General Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in Turkistan, on 11–12 September 2026.

During the visit, Mr. Şentürk was accompanied by Prosecutors of the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Türkiye, Dr. Ahmet Hasan Kılıç, Mr. Abuzer Yazıcıoğlu and Mr. Murat Olcar.

Within the framework of the meetings, Mr. Şentürk delivered presentations on: “Criminal Liability of Corporate Officials Associated with Terrorist Organisations and Sanctions Applicable to Such Companies: Türkiye’s Experience”; and “The Use of Crypto-Assets in Organised Crime, Their Impact on National Economies and International Cooperation.”

In the course of the meetings, the following instruments were signed among the Prosecutors General of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States: “Memorandum on Cooperation between the Prosecutor's Offices of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States in the Field of Public Prosecution within Criminal Proceedings” and “Protocol of the Fifth Meeting of the Council of Prosecutors General of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States.”

During the visit, Mr. Şentürk held bilateral meetings with the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Prosecutor General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Secretary-General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, and the Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States.

In addition, Mr. Şentürk and his accompanying delegation paid courtesy visits to the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Turkistan and the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Almaty.
