H.E. Mr. Kamran Aliyev, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the accompanying delegation paid an official visit to Kars between 14–16 June 2026 at the official invitation of H.E. Mr. Muhsin Şentürk, General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Türkiye.
H.E. Mr. Kamran Aliyev was accompanied by Mr. Sanan Pashayev, Prosecutor of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic; Mr. Sabuhi Aliyev, Director of the International Legal Cooperation Department; Mr. Ilgar Safarov, Senior Assistant to the Prosecutor General on Special Assignments; Mr. Agil Akhundov, Military Prosecutor of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic; and Mr. Akbar Hasanli, Deputy Prosecutor of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Within the framework of the programme, courtesy visits were paid to Mr. Mehmet Çepni, Chief Public Prosecutor of Kars; Mr. Zamin Aliyev, Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kars; and Mr. Meriç Dede, Chief Public Prosecutor of Iğdır.
Furthermore, H.E. Mr. Şentürk and the accompanying delegation paid a visit to Mr. Ziya Polat, Governor of Kars, as well as to other members of the provincial protocol.
