Visit by the Acting Prosecutor General and the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria
Acting Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Borislav Sarafov and the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Kalin Stoyanov paid an official visit to Türkiye between 8-11 October 2023. The accompanying delegation of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Borislav Sarafov consisted of Deputy Head of Sofia Appellate Prosecutor’s Office Ms. Emiliya Rusinova, Head of Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office Ms. Iliana Kiriolova and Deputy Head of Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office Mr. Hristo Krastev.
Within the scope of the visit, Acting Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Borislav Sarafov and his delegation visited the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal on 10 October 2023. During the meetings held with the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Bekir Şahin, information was given regarding the duties and powers of the General Prosecution Office of the Supreme Court of Appeal and opinions were exchanged.
During the visit, Acting Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Borislav Sarafov and the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Kalin Stoyanov, along with their delegations, had meetings with the President of the Supreme Court of Appeal Mr. Mehmet Akarca, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Hakan Fidan, the Minister of Interior Mr. Ali Yerlikaya and the Deputy Minister of Justice Mr. Hasan Yılmaz.
